For more than 15 years, Blue Gold has been distributing electrical equipment to its Belgian and European customers. This longevity can best be explained by the satisfaction of our customers with the equipment sold.
The growth of our turnover – particularly in recent years – also reflects our ability to meet our customers’ needs.
As a Blue Gold customer, you benefit from warranty conditions that are at the very least equivalent to those of the manufacturers of the products ordered.
Any returns under warranty can be performed through a straightforward presentation of an invoice. The returned product will then be inspected by our customer service department and/or our suppliers to determine if the normal usage criteria have been met.
A standard is a document certifying that a product or service meets a certain level of quality, safety and reliability. In Belgium, the most well-known conformity marking in our sector is (SGS) CEBEC.
For their part, the European standards (EN or NE) are documents that have been ratified by one of the three European standardisation organisations (ETSI, CENELEC or CEN).
What you need to know is that the European standard (EN) takes precedence over any national standard. This means that you can use the products we sell throughout Belgium.
Thus, all European Union member states must transpose European standards into their national standards. Member States are also required to remove any contradictory national standards. This obligation facilitates the free movement of goods within the EU.
For each order processed, Blue Gold checks the equivalence between the ordered reference numbers and the deliverable reference numbers. This can sometimes result in substantial savings.
However, the double-referencing is not systematic, as it is decided by the manufacturer and involves only certain items. There are also a number of Belgian items that have no equivalent abroad. In this case, we will offer you a Belgian reference number, which is neither better nor worse. Although relatively rare, this situation is most often due to one of the following two reasons:
1) A new product has been tested on a group of countries (including Belgium) before being sold on a larger scale;
2) An old product is being gradually withdrawn from sale by the manufacturer, which has not yet done so in Belgium..
Please note that the opposite is also possible! Thus, if you want to order a product listed as "obsolete" in Belgium, we may still be able to get it abroad.

Blue Gold has developed an "internal process for the management of quality-related returns" to deal with any eventuality. This process is available for all our existing and prospective customers on request.
We require all our suppliers to notify us without delay in the event of a quality-related notification. In addition, Blue Gold performs daily information monitoring on the various products in our catalogue.
